M-O: Ministry Orientation
You're invited to M-O (Ministry Orientation) on Saturday, August 19 @ POP!
I know you’re busy, but please hear me out! Can you make a little room for joy in your life? You heard that right: JOY! My prayer for you is that you experience God’s JOY, that you’re caught up in His delight! I’d love to tell you more.
The staff and I are gearing up for a great ministry year with the theme “Rejoice with Me!”, and we’ve put together a Saturday morning kickoff event that’s going to help you get a taste of what’s to come.

POP Kids Volunteer Team:Why should you serve in Children's Ministry? Serve in children’s ministry because you get to teach kids the Bible and be a part of making disciples. Our team is made up of adults and students using their gifts to come alongside families as they raise their children to be followers of Christ. Won't you join us?
Student Ministry: IGNITE and FUEL: Have you ever wondered what Student ministry is about? Do you want to know what crazy things Matt has in store for Student Ministry this year? Do you want to hear about FUEL 2.0 and IGNITE 2.0 for 2017? Then come and check it out!
Worship – Expect the Unexpected : Designed for Connection Center volunteers, Worship Hosts, and Worship Coordinators – Specifically to include: 1) how to manage guests needing additional assistance, e.g. homeless in need of help, 2) emergency procedures for unexpected situations during worship services, and 3) new schedules based on the new service times. There will also be time to ask any other questions you may have regarding serving during worship services.
Lifetree Cafe: All current Lifetree Café Team members (or those interested in finding out more about the Lifetree Café team). Lifetree hosts, friendship team members, and Communication team members will talk through the last 6 months and look ahead the next 6 months. This breakout is in-lieu of a fall team meeting.
P.E.A.C.E. Group Leaders: We will be kicking off the year by looking at the essential relational practices every group leader should have. These practices not only help lead a group, but will also help in everyday spiritual conversations and building relationships! Come also to reconnect with other leaders, receive the schedule for leader training events, and hear about upcoming small group studies.
Care Outreach: The care ministry community will explore opportunities to increase hospitality and extend care for participants in our care outreach programs like DivorceCare, Divorce Care for Kids, Grief Share, and Financial Peace University.
Coffee Serving: New schedules, a kitchen remodel, and new coffee procedures all add up to a good reason you should come to this break out session! We will talk through all of these in detail, give you a chance to ask questions, and show you pictures of the new kitchen on its way!
